1. Madhabi Puri Buch got extension a WTM at SEBI

The government has extended the appointment of Madhabi Puri Buch as a Whole Time Member (WTM) of SEBI by the period of six months
With this notification, the sole female mnenyer of the board will stay on till October 4, 2020
She was not only the first woman to be appointed as a WTM of SEBI but also the first person from the private sector to do so.
